Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
As a kindergarten teacher at Altiora Jeju, you will teach students mainly from age 3 to age 5 a variety of subjects in English. (Teachers can teach after-school classes of elementary students : grade 1 ~ grade 6)
We are looking for an enthusiastic kindergarten teacher to foster and facilitate a variety of development of our children.
*Responsiblities
-design and follow a complete teaching plan
-teach various subjects in English with personal, social and emotional skills
-organize learning material and resources
-use a variety of activities and instructional methods to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities
-maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information
-assess students performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on regular basis
-cooperate with administration staff
-follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations
Teaching level and subjects —> kindergarten & elementary school students, English, PE, science experiments, art, debate& presentation (entry-level)
Working Conditions
Contract length —> 1year
Location (+ Altiora Jeju) —> 1005 Gueok-ri, Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do
There are only less than 8 classrooms. There is a gym, cafeteria, rooftop playground, enough-sized classroom, smartboard-equipped

Housing? —-> brand-new accommodation (with regrigerator, washing machine, microwave oven, air-conditioner, wifi, bed, desk, a private bath and shower, small kitchen, built-in closet)
(+ housing allowance is not offered if they don’t want school accommodations)
Working hours and class hours per week, start and end time of work day? —>Monday to Friday
(if working on Sat, extra salary will be paid, sat working time is different) 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:00am-6:00pm (25~30 hours / week teaching hours)
Starting date? —> ASAP
Salary —>2.4~ Negotiable based on experience
Vacation —> 10 days (summer vacation: 5days, winter vacation:5days) +Korean national holidays
Benefits: 50/50 insurance and pension, severance pay
Airfare: one-way flight ticket
Must have an apostilled diploma and an apostilled nationwide criminal background check within 6 months of issuance
