Additional Information |
imply put, my role as a teacher extends back nearly seventeen years (on and off). I have worked in other countries but South Korea makes up the majority of my experience. While I have worked with all ages, young learners have constituted the majority of my teaching experience (along with middle school). I am very familiar with their learning style, energy and needs. Not only do I have the most fun with them, my teaching persona, style and use of methods correlates quite with what they like to do.
While I have been upgrading my professional skills and trying to sharpen the tools of my craft, I do recognize that there are conflicting ideals, when it comes to teaching ESL/EFL though a Western view. (Convergent vs Divergent teaching/learning). With that said, I am adaptable and fully capable of learning different approaches, methods and deliveries. Thus ,if you are really looking for someone that has a good idea of how to teach, is familiar with the host learning culture and enjoys interacting with the students, giving them something to look forward to in their day(s), I am the person for the job.
References are available upon request if there is genuine, mutual interest. Again, documents are ready with an Apostille (I can easily fly myself to Korea).
